Feb. 25th, 2006 01:41 pmI just started reading my next assignment for my history class.
"We know reality only in the past tense. We do not know it as it is in the present, in the moment when it's happening, when it 'is'. The present moment is unlike the memory of it. Remembering is not the negative of forgetting. Remembering is a form of forgetting" - Milan Kundera, Writer.
As I'm reading this passage, I'm thinking "ok, am I actually experiencing the reality or this moment or am I remembering it a split second after I experience it?
