Zack lost his first tooth yesterday. It just fell out of his mouth while he was talking (he didn't pull it out himself). He had his first visit from the tooth fairy. That was cool.

The hurricane is still headed straight for us. Now that is has been upgraded to a 4, I feel certain that we won't be flying out of here next week. I really wish we had evacuated. Last night, I asked Chris several times if there was someway we could go to my parent's home. There really is no way this late. We don't have a car and it is too late to rent one. We didn't leave because we thought we'd be able to fly out this morning. We can't take off with my MIL's car and she doesn't want to evacuate. She says that if she's without electricity and/or water next week then she may go up to my parents. Speaking of going without water, the city is turning off water and sewer services this morning at 10:00 a.m.

We still have power, water and sewer. However, we did just hear a transformer blow outside.

We are starting to think that we were meant to be here during this storm. MIL will need our help to get cleaned up afterwards.

My anxiety level is off the charts!
