Mar. 10th, 2005 10:07 pmApparently, six to seven years is good news when it comes to Lymphoma. I guess I was the only one thinking she would have 20 more years left. It seems everyone else in the family thought she only had six months left. There is also another silver lining in this cloud. Chris will be done school in another year or so, and that means we will be able to move home and still have time to spend with her. It is interesting how something like this puts life into perspective. Yesterday I got into an argument with a guy at the car wash when he tried to cut in front of me in line. Normally, I would obsess about such an experience for hours. Instead, I forgot about it after I spoke with MIL. Next time, I think I'll just let the guy cut in front of me. What's the big deal?
Benji arrives tomorrow from New Zealand. The kids can't wait. They love it when he visits because (and I quote) he is a fun grown up. Also next week is spring break, so hopefully we will do some fun stuff. We are planning day trips to Tombstone, Phoenix and Mt. Lemmon. The weather has been so nice here lately. Yesterday I took the kids swimming.
