Writer's Block: Back to the future

I think my twelve year old self would be happy because I have everything I wanted when I was 12: a husband I love, kids, a dog (pets were very important to me at that age.) I certainly didn't have the perspective at 12 to think about money woes, so the fact that we are in dire financial straits wouldn't have even registered on my radar. To a certain degree, I wish I could view my life from that carefree, innocent girl's perspective. I'd probably be much more content with how I turned out.
