Nov. 13th, 2007 03:12 pmLife today seems to be running along much more smoothly. My tummy ache is finally gone (4 days later) and hopefully I caught the UTI in time to treat it myself with cranberry juice and AZO. Zack's snail is still alive and crawling around despite the hole in his shell. I taking the stance that "no news is good news" concerning my step-FIL. He continues to heal, no turns for the worst. That's good news.
I took Zack to the dentist today. Two fillings, 4 sealants on his grown-up molars, and they reshaped his lower canines to make room for his lower middle four teeth. What a lot of work to do in one sitting! He went through it like a trooper with no complaining. After it was over, he kept feeling his nose and chin, wondering why they felt so weird. He finally had to look in a mirror to be convinced that they weren't swollen or misshapen :) I'm so thankful we have dental insurance now. What a blessing to be able to keep their teeth well taken care of.
The sun is shining today. It's cold, but with the sky so brilliantly blue, who cares about the cold?
