Jan. 10th, 2007 08:49 amLast night I realized that we still have quite a lot to do before we leave (Friday). I don't know if we'll have the time or energy, but we'll give it our best shot!
To-do list:
-exchange jacket given to me by Chris' aunt that is a tad bit too small and too lightweight of Nanjing weather.
-get haircut and maybe highlighted
-get Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods" (Mariannette and I are doing a small book club together, with our hubbies, when we return. I ordered all the books online, and ended up with a children's picture book entitled "A Walk in the Woods" instead. The first book we're reading is Absurdistan, picked by Mariannette's hubby.)
-mail a book to my sister and a book back to Univ. of Arizona
-get new dress shoes and shirt for Chris
-do a wal-mart run to stock up on things we can't get in China. I need 5 months worth of tampons and Zack has requested we take back some cocoa Lucky Charms.
-I want to go to Michael's to look at some more scrapbook stuff. I need some good, colorful acid-free pens.
In other news, I'm reading "InkSpell" and really enjoying it. As always with a good book, it has invaded my dreams. I received so many great books for Christmas, I'll be set for a while.
