Dec. 19th, 2006 10:19 amI've been going a little MySpace crazy tonight. I can't access it from China so I used tonight to get caught up on things. Yesterday, as I was reading my lj, I suddenly realized that I could click links again! Since our connection is super slow in China I've just given up clicking links people post in their journal entries. It was great fun last night clicking links and watching movie trailers. I had no clue what movies were out there. I have a long list of movies I want to see now. I think I'd like to watch just about all of them, truth be told.
We visited Granny today for a few hours. Petey, Zack and Connor had a wonderful time playing "nasty ball" with Katrina the dog. Simple joys, that's what makes life wonderful. Speaking of simple joys, imagine our delight to discover that SpikeTV is having a Voyager marathon for the next week!! Voyager was my entry way into the world of Star Trek. It was like seeing old friends to see Janeway, Tuvok and Chakotay today after so many years, lol :)
We really want to get Petey an interactive R2-D2 for Christmas. From the research we've done, this toy is awesome and has received rave reviews. Unfortunately, we were unaware that it existed until we saw it in the SkyMall magazine on the plane from Shanghai. No one has it in stock. It would be impossible to get before Christmas. Ah well. He's such a resilient kid, he won't be too disappointed. Still, it's would be so cool to have a little r2-d2 roaming around the house, wouldn't it?
