Birthday's rock

I'm listening to my "Death Cab for Cutie" cd that I got for my, guess what....birthday! That's right. In case I haven't mentioned it enough times in the past several entries, it is my birthday today. I love birthdays. I love this cd. I love my family. Life is good.

At choir practice today, they all sang Happy Birthday to me. If you've ever been sung Happy Birthday by a room full of accomplished singers, you'll know what a treat this was. People were breaking off into descants all over the place. It sounded lovely. The choir director even made cupcakes to celebrate. This is the first time Chris and I have ever lived anywhere for over 2 years. It makes a difference when people really know you and care about you. A few minutes ago, Pasha came over and gave me a set of lavender scented items: a candle, body wash and bubble bath. She's such a nice person.

Zack and Petey drew pictures for me. Petey's picture is Shark boy and Lava Girl. I'm Lava Girl and he's Shark boy. Zack's picture is our whole family, and I'm riding on the back of Yoshi (Zack's favorite Nintendo character.) I'll try and scan the pics later to post them.

Petey is waiting to use the computer. He said my fingers look like they are doing a "dance off" (dance, dance revolution).

Life is good. School starts Tuesday. I hope I can keep up this optimistic attitude then, lol!
