(no subject)

I took Connor back to the Dr. today. I thought maybe he hadn't quite gotten over his pneumonia since he still has lots of greenish grossness flowing from his nose. His Dr. said that he's fine, though...no ear infection or the likes. I'm glad he's all better. Now if only his nose will stop running!

I had to punish Zack today for playing too rough with Connor. He hurt Connor pretty badly. I know he felt bad, but I just felt like it was time to make him realize how serious this is. When Pete was littler, Zack did the same thing to him, too. I know he loves them so much. He really is an awesome big brother, he just gets too worked up. So, no video games for Zack tomorrow. I know it probably doesn't seem that harsh, but to Zack it is.

We are also starting a new "thing". I got two little jars and wrote "I'm bean good" on them. One is for Zack and the other for Pete. Every time they do something good or nice, I'm going to put a few beans in their jar. When the jar is full they get to do something fun, like rent a game or go out for ice cream as a reward. If they are naughty, they will get beans taken away. I heard about it at church on Sunday, so I thought we'd give it a try. I thought it would also help me to look more for the positive and be less critical. Lately I feel as if I am constantly nagging them, especially Pete ever since his close call with the car.

I made A's in both my classes.
