The Sistas

Here I am with my four sisters. We have a brother, but he wasn't able to be there. We are standing in order of age. As much as I'd like to claim that's me in the middle, I can't. I'm the first one, then comes Shannon, Holly, Wendy and Bonnie. I love having so many sisters. As we get older, it is more and more precious to me to have these wonderful women as my friends and family. I really am blessed to be part of such a great family.

We tried to duplicate the picture with all the kids, but they didn't quite have the same attention span....

Bonnie looks just like you did when you were her age. I saw her picture first and I said, "It's Tina!" and I was confused because you looked like how I remembered you from school. Then I saw you on the other end and I smiled and said, "It's Tina!" and wasn't confused. Suddenly you are younger than me and you didn't age and I was sad. Then I saw you again and realized I didn't have to be sad because you were grown up too and I wasn't alone.

I love that picture of you guys. As a kid I always wanted brothers but now as I've learned to cherish the friendships of women I so desperately wish to have sisters. You all are so blessed!

Bonnie and I are the most alike. She plays flute, loves to read and strongly dislikes anything preppy. Its pretty cool, although weird... Like I'm looking in a mirror of my 16 year old self.

They all look so wonderful! All so grown up and beautiful. Holly and Wendy look nothing like the wee girls I remember them to be.
