(no subject)
Before we left, I got a new camera. The plan was to document our cross country trip with photos, but as of yet I haven't seen much that's inspired me to whip out the camera. I do love it though. It's perfect to fit in my pocket and super fast. So, today I decided just to take some pics, despite the lack of "interesting-ness".
This guy hitched a ride on our windshield this morning from the hotel to IHOP. His antennaes (antennai?) were so long!

Today we enter South Dakota. I've been looking forward to this leg of the trip. Between reading My Antonia and Peace like a River I've learned a lot about the beauty of South Dakota. I'm especially looking forward to the Badlands. We won't get that far today, but definitely tomorrow.
