Zack's self portrait has been chosen to be in an art show. I'm so proud of him! I'll post a picture of it when I get a chance. Which reminds me, will some wonderful LJ user tell me how to post a picture in a journal entry? Thanks.

Connor dropped a hot pink crayon into the dryer. Naturally it was a load of white clothes, and now they are covered in pink polka dots. Isn't it strange how it seems Chris' clothes have much more pink on them than mine? If anyone has any laundry tips on getting crayon wax off clothes, please do tell!

Last night I planned on taking a quiz for one of my classes. The prof. provided the documents that he said we would need for the quiz. I read over them and, as they were the same ones we'd discussed last week, I thought I was ready for the quiz. When I opened the quiz, the documents he provided have nothing to do with the questions. As a matter of fact, the quiz is on a topic we have not even discussed in class (Roosevelt's decision to enter WW2). The documents he wants us to analyze for the quiz are long speeches given by Roosevelt. I'm always unsure about this prof. Did he do this on purpose, or does he not know how to use the class website very well? Did he mean to provide us these documents ahead of time or is this the way he meant the quiz to be? Chris thinks I should complain, but then again as a historian I should be able to read a historical document and analyze it whether I've seen it before or not. Luckily, he turned on the option of saving the quiz and resuming later (this is another confusing issue: Did he mean for us to have that option, or was it an accident?)so I printed off all the documents and will study them before I attempt the quiz again.

I'm not enjoying "Bloods" nearly as much as I'd hope to. It is full of curse words(the f-word repeatedly) and graphic descriptions of war. I don't like it one bit.

Rented "Little Black Book" last night. What a waste of time.

Best wishes to all my Florida friends and family. I hope the weather hasn't been too rough on you.
