Jumping in front of History Dept.
I finally got Zack to participate in a jumping picture. This signifies, to me, that maybe he is feeling a little better about the move. He seems in a much better mood each day.

Today we needed to get out of the house and take a break from unpacking so we went to visit the Virginia Museum of Fine Art and the Virginia Historical Society (both free!) The kids, although grumbly at first, enjoyed themselves.

I heart Fabrege!
By far, their favorite room in the Art Museum was the Faberge Room. We spent the longest time in there. I'm not sure if it ties in with their video game fascination (I'm thinking of Sonic, specifically) by they really love jewels. Who doesn't?

Watching me watching you
This was the most tempting piece of art work for them--it seems to scream "Touch me! You know you want to see your hand in the tv. Just do it..." There was a guard lingering close by who seemed ready to pounce at us the moment one of the boys reached out. But HA! on him because not one of them did. They were really good, over all.

Virginia Museum of Fine Art
The Modern Self Portraits were quite interesting.

Richmond's plethora of mushrooms
This was taken yesterday. It seems to me that Richmond has quite a lot of mushrooms, more than I recall seeing in other places where we lived. I commented on this fact to Petey and he replied, "Yeah, if this was a Mario world, the people in Richmond would be giants!"

Zack's jump looks so awesome! You can tell the other boys are leaping but he seems to almost be floating or defying gravity or something.

oooh Faberge...I would love to see those jewels too!!

Awesomeness. I love the leaping picture, but I am more glad to see them enjoy themselves while behaving in the museum.
