Oh. My. Goodness.

I know some kids that are going to be happy, happy, happy when they see this. Although, after watching the trailer, I wonder if I should have let Petey read them at his age. They seem to be for a more mature audience. Ah well, that damage is done. Time for him to move onto Lolita :D

Ha, Reno is going to love it. I admit it looks kinda cute!

How old's Petey? My oldest girls love, love these books. They're 14, 12 and 10. I've read a couple of them and they're pretty dang funny, and I felt capture that 6th grade feel pretty well. You can count them amoung those being happy this was made.

Petey is 9, in third grade. I wonder how much of it he "got" and how much went over his head? Either way, he loves the books. We got him the do-it-yourself diary for Christmas and he has spent hours filling it in. Looks like they did a good job with the movie, too.

I can't watch the trailer cuz I'm listening to the president's speech. What books is this movie based on?

Oh! I have that book at home! I heard about it on NPR, I haven't read it yet.
