Josh stayed home from school today and I called off volunteering at the library. He has a cough and I thought he needed a day of rest. Still no fever though.
Zack went on a field trip to go dissect squids. The kid sitting next to him on the bus got in big, big trouble for making prank calls on his cell phone during the drive. He tried to get Zack to do it too, but Zack said no. Yay for not bending to peer pressure. I'm so proud of him!
The squirrels have dropped pine cone cobs and pine seeds all over my yard so I raked it today. It looks much better. Now instead of pine crap all over my yard, I have sand and weeds. Still not much grass to speak of.
My washer is broken again.
Chris will be home in five days. *happy sigh*
I'm constantly amazed at all the resources librarians dig up on the web. Will I ever be that resourceful, I wonder? My favorite discoveries of today are totlol (a kid-friendly youtube type site) and BibMe (the easiest site for citation creation evah!)
I really want to see New Moon. I know, i hated the book and bag on Twilight at every opportunity. But I'm compelled! It's quite sad how manipulated I am by effective marketing techniques.

Hmmmm Maybe we should have squirrel pot pie for thanksgiving If they continue to bombard you with pine cones, maybe we should have squirrel pot pie for Thanksgiving ! I'm sure Max would like to set the little tree rats straight. Don't look now but its the time of year they like to come into your attic and have offspring. I think what you need is a cat ! Hey , you know, it just so happens that I have 6 kittens looking for a home. How about a nice kitty cat?
