Mine's a church song I sang a lot as a kid. I thought the words were "teach me all that I'm a stew."

Turns out they were "teach me all that I must do."

I still think of stew every time I hear that song.

What sort of stew, exactly, might you have been?

I have no idea. I was probably five years old when my mom realized what I thought the lyrics were. After she laughed for a good while, she corrected me. I think I was so young that I didn't really wonder about what I was singing. I just sang.

Maybe hobo stew?
