Writer's Block: Fearsome

[Error: unknown template qotd]

I scared easily from TV shows, particularly Scooby Doo. I had a dream that one of the ghosts--a cowboy on a horse--rode into my room and slipped under my bed. For years I'd run and leap into bed because I was convinced he'd grab my ankle. I also got thoroughly freaked out by the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

I still don't watch scary movies, not even slightly scary. Not interested in the least :)

The cowboy on the horse always scared me, too.

Really? I always thought I was alone in that fear. I find it strangely comforting to know I wasn't :)

I was also scared by the alien muppets on Sesame Street. You know, the ones that walked around the house going "Yep yep yep yep"?

I do remember those aliens, but they didn't scare me like Scooby Doo. Another dream I had about Scooby Doo was being part of the gang and chased by a giant earthworm.
*shudders*

I really wasn't allowed to watch "The Muppet Show"...or Sesame Street or the Electric Company. I missed out on a lot of the late 70's early 80's pop culture :)
