Not-so-bad-in-the-grand-scheme-of-things news

And it turns out that my sinus infection that was really an ear infection is in actuality an abscessed tooth.

I went to the dentist today for a couple of fillings and I told him about the face pain as well as the swelling of my gums (I didn't telly you guys this part. My swollen gum actually "popped" and I had to spit out some yucky white stuff.) He tested my upper right back molar with some sort of electrical device. I didn't feel a thing, which he said means the tooth is dead. If it had any nerve left, I'd have felt a tingling with the electrical probe. *sigh*. I've never had a root canal and I dread it. I DREAD IT.

Not to mention the cost. Thankfully we have really good insurance, but even with that I'm dropping a cool $500.

And there goes the first chunk of the income tax refund. I wonder what will be next. C'mon, start lining up, all you unexpected-expenses. I know you're out there! Let's just get this over with.

Ugh, I guess I have no room to complain in comparison with your unexpected expenses. Of course, if we were to count my moving expenses this summer...well, it will add up quickly. We're hoping to save a large chunk of our tax refund for the impending move.

I must of missed this...why are you going to PT? Is that part of your diabetes diagnosis?

No, no, no - no comparision. We all have our burdens to bear - I was just sharing mine with you. I'm jsut saying that you aren't alone and if you come up with any way to create legal tender legally let me know *lol*!

PT - yeah it's part of that. The weird thing is that the point was to do the Medical Fitness Program. My doc sent me to PT so that the insurance would cover it. But they couldn't just send me to the fitness program without finding something wrong with me - besides the overall out of good health. So since I have arthritis in my knees the PT guys decided to focus on that in hopes that if they can relieve the pain in my knees I'll be more prone to want to exercise.
