(no subject)

Has anyone made/run across any super cute homemade ornaments this year?

yes... mine!! I take glass ball ornaments and I find sparkly tissue paper, tear it into pieces, and glue them on with watered-down glue. They are soooo pretty! The kids can make them, too.

some ideas

while i was at that site there was a link to make angels out of tp rolls. I thought that was pretty neat so here's a link for that too.

Good question. Although I don't think Mike would be at all favorable. I went through this thing a few years ago when I would attempt these Martha Stewart oranament making projects. Total fail. Oh they were just awful *lol*!! I think if he knew that I was trying to make some more ornaments he'd run screaming from the house...

wait...I do have a project involving starfish and glitter. I'll let you know how it turns out.

we saved the metal tops of frozen juice cans. taped a small pic on it and then used a hammer and nail and pounded holes around the outline of the pic. like a tree or dove etc. and there you have round tin-punched ornaments. if you get a really thick nail you punch a hole at the top and run ribbon through it or you hot glue ribbon to the back as a hanger.
