I've always had horrid morning breath. It's something I've accepted about myself long ago. I know, you're thinking that everyone has bad morning breath, right? Well, mine's above (below?) average. Here's proof:

This morning after the kids left for school, Josh and I were cuddling together on the couch. I'd managed to shower and fix my hair before I got them out the door (yay me!) but I had yet to brush my teeth. After a few moments of snuggling, Josh said to me, "Something smells like puke."

I replied, "Oh yeah, that's my breath. I haven't brushed my teeth yet."

He quickly said, "Well, go brush them!"

I was kind of dozing a bit, and I didn't feel the need to brush at that exact moment so I said "I will in a minute."

He sat there quietly for a second or two and then said more to himself than to me, "I wish I didn't have a nose."

Talk about a less-than-subtle hint!!

*ROFL* Please, please, please can I borrow Josh and have him sit with Mike? OMGosh! Mike needs some serious help with the breathe and it's all the time - toothes brushed or not! When he went to his conference I said, "Honey, this is a professional event, I think it would be good for you to buy a pack of Dentene to carry with you so you can freshen up your breathe as you mingle." How do you tell your beloved husband that his breathe smells like butt?

I have to confess that I've only ever properly kissed my husband a handful of times, in the first few weeks we were going out, because his breath is so...potent.
