(no subject)

I have two huge bags of potatoes. Any suggestions for using them up? What is your favorite potato recipe? We're talking about Idaho spuds here, not red or yellow.

Mashed potatoes are my favorite! And you could make sausage gravy to put on them. That was always my favorite when I was little.
Potato soup
You could chop them up and put them in eggs, maybe.
Hashbrowns (shredded up style)
French fries
Ok, I just started spouting out potato ideas. I don't know how to make most of these. But maybe you do :)

A vegetarian suggesting sausage gravy, lol!! Perfect. I hadn't thought of putting them in eggs, that's a great idea. We had cheesy potatoes earlier this week just like mom used to make :)

I thought that too when I suggested it :) but I figured since I liked it when I was little your kids would like it too.
