We may be having a winter storm tonight. The Weather Channel has put us on a winter storm watch from 1 am to 11 am. That stinks, but it especially stinks because Petey's first soccer game is tomorrow. When Zack was saying family prayer tonight before bedtime, he said "Thank you that we had snow, we really liked it and it was fun. But now, please stop sending snow and especially don't let our door be covered by a blizzard." What faith. I've always felt hesitant to pray about the weather, as if it was too presumptuous to assume that my desires/needs for the weather were more important than anyone else's. Hearing Zack pray with such faith warmed my heart.

Anyway, here's hoping that Petey's first game doesn't get snowed out. Snow in April. Blah!!

What a fantastic prayer. When you guys get out of the snowy season, I'll have my dad email me a picture of our house when I was 3. There was a blizzard and it packed against our door. They opened the door and had me stand next to the snow pack. I'm sure it wouldn't be funny for the kids to see now, but maybe during the summer when there's no threat of snow falling.

Let us know how Petey's game goes today! I'm thinking positively!
