Yesterday Connor turned on the water cooler and left it on until it was completely empty. As much as I hate that stinky drain in the kitchen floor, I was sure thankful it was there yesterday.

We went to Metro today. This is a Sam's Club-like store. We found Swiss Miss, Honeycomb's cereal, flour, baking soda, cake mix, frosting, and microwave popcorn there. Woo-hoo! We also bought a toaster oven. Another woo-hoo!

I haven't been feeling quite up to par lately. I'm moody, short-tempered, and slightly depressed. I'm not sure if this has to do more with the move or the difficultly of home schooling.

I vote for the move. I am constantly amazed by your upbeat, optomistic, cheerful attitude as you face one challenge after another. I'm sure that if I were in your shoes, I'd have had a breakdown by now. I think its ok to allow yourself an occasional down day as you are learning to cope and adjust to your new lifestyle. I think you are doing great!

ps Thanks to Connor, I'll bet your kitchen floor is a lot cleaner than mine!
