I finally got to go hiking with Chris. Richard (Chris' big brother) and his daughter, Julia, arrived yesterday. We hatched a plan to go hiking first thing this morning. I called the babysitter and she agreed to come at 5:30 a.m. We have an awesome babysitter. We were out the door and hitting Catalina State Park by 6. As you can see in the picture, we were in the shade for most of the hike, so it wasn't nearly as hot as it could have been. This is the first time (since I've discovered my love of hiking) that I've had the chance to hike with Chris and no kids. I really enjoyed being able to show him all the beautiful sites up there in the mountains. We were home by 8 and had a breakfast of waffles with fresh strawberries.

I love this picture. I think it has to be my new all time favorite of Chris and I together.

You look awesome and so happy there with Chris! It makes me a little sad that we've missed so much of your life while you've been living there in AZ.

It makes me sad too, Mom. But, hopefully we can remedy this situation with in the next few years :)
