(no subject)

Church today. It seems so bizarre on the one hand, yet so comfortable on the other. It's obvious we have a handful of members whose elevators don't quite go to the top floor, so to speak. Not realizing this initially, I was appalled at one comment a woman made during Sunday School. However, by the end of the day I realized she wasn't necessarily thinking along the same lines that the rest of us were, and I was able to relax and enjoy her comments. I really think I'm going to enjoy this congregation. I did realize that none of the women my age (or younger) attend Relief Society. They are all in Primary teaching the kids. I'm hoping I get asked to work in there, so I can get to know the ladies my age.

School starts on Tuesday. I - am - so - dang - excited!! I've been yearning for this day for a year. The kids in school again. The whole day to myself (well, three hours anyway when Josh is in preschool). What bliss it will be. I can hardly think of anything else :) Does this make me an evil mom?
