(no subject)
Ack, I just lost a long entry to the depths of cyber space. I wish there was some sort of "save" option. Is there?
Anyway, all 5 kids are behaving marvelously. I'm quite pleased with them. I forgot how much more chatty girls are then boys. S seems to be thinking out loud at times. I was trying to read and she kept asking me questions. I was getting a little annoyed, but after I thought about I realized all women are more chatty then men. Its just a wonderful character trait of our gender. I've just gotten used to the relative non-verbalness of all these boys. I've planned all kid-friendly meals for the rest of the week. Last night we had spaghetti and meatballs and tonight we are having hamburgers, tater tots and corn on the cob. We also have tacos and frozen pizza planned. I know, these aren't the most nutritious meals, but at least I know everyone will eat them.
We went to the park, the library and the pool today. Pete spent about a half hour diving for toys off the bottom of the shallow end. Hopefully by the end of the summer he will be swimming well enough that we won't have another deep end mishap like we did last week. Zack was diving for toys from the deep end. I am so proud of them both. They are just like little fishes!
Looking forward to Survivor tonight. All my favorites have been voted off, so I'm going to start pulling for Ian.
