Writer's Block: Fresh Flowers or Crunchy Leaves?
[Error: unknown template qotd]
Spring!! I'm so glad spring is here. Fortunately winter hasn't been too snowy for us here in Idaho, but it has been dreary. There were days when fog settled only on our little town and none of the surrounding areas. A person could literally drive out of the fog (like by going up a hill or driving towards Boise) and the sky would be sunny and blue. Everywhere else in the area was beautiful while our town was covered in a cold mist. It's like there were dementors breeding here!
But now the weather is warming up and I'm so thankful. It just lifts my spirits tremendously. I can easily say that winter is my least favorite of the seasons. And, one of the fun things about living in a new house is that I have no idea what's planted in my flower beds. All sorts of interesting looking plants have started to push their way up threw the soil. What will it be? Daffodils, tulips, lilies...what ever they turn out to be, I'm just happy to see them. Every time I walk past and see another one starting to peek through the dirt, it brings a smile to my lips.
