Where's a demi-god when you need one?

We went to see Percy Jackson last night. It was really good, taken as a movie alone and not in comparison to the books. The characters were much older--I would have preferred if they'd been younger as they were in the books. It seems as if they are making the movie a stand alone, rather than part one of a series. They left out Kronos altogether. I thought the guy who played Percy was a bit lacking, like he tried too hard. Still, it was good and the kids really enjoyed it.

I locked the keys in the house today after everyone was outside and ready to leave. That stunk.

They didn't bunch all the books together, it is only the first book but they left out all the details that are necessary to build up to the next books.

We got into the house through a secret way which shall never be revealed :)
