It is so windy out there right now! It sounds more windy than when that tropical storm blew through a couple weeks ago. It's kind of creepy. I heard a loud thump a few minutes ago. I'm not going to see what it was...my trash can blowing away?
Project one, done! If you're interested in seeing it, you can check it out here: http://gaminglibrarian.pbworks.com/ . It's a site providing resources for librarians/educators who are interested in learning how to use gaming in the library setting.
Project two, mostly done.
Project three, not yet started. Fortunately it isn't due until Dec. 12 and it is also on gaming in the library. I got to choose the topic and I purposely overlapped with my other project. Why research twice, right? I now have a plethora of resources ready to be perused.
Finally, after two years of pestering school officials (albeit not these school officials) Petey has started the testing for the gifted program. He passed the initial IQ test with a score of 128. Today he was tested more rigorously by the school psychologist but we don't have those results yet. Of course, the irony is that this school has no funding for a gifted program and the only thing they do is give the kids more advanced work. Since it looks as if we will most likely be moving again (blast!) I am going to try and make sure our next school has a good program (if he even gets in, that is. There's still no assurances at this point.)
Tonight at Cub Scouts we made fudge to send to some of the boys' dads who are deployed. I hope it makes the trip to Iraq in one piece!
I don't want to hear about Tiger Woods any more. Leave the poor man alone!

I agree with you about Tiger Woods. *yawn* Bored now! But I guess the media ran out of stories about Jon and Kate.
