Three best books:

-Les Miserables
-Pride and Prejudice
-Peace Like a River

I think the first two are obvious, as they are tried and true classics. Peace Like a River is a coming of age story, mixed with a bit of mysticism which for some reason always seems to appeal to me. I'm not sure why I count it as one of my bests, just that when I read it I was deeply moved and it holds a special place in my heart. It reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird, to some degree.

Three worst books:

-The Yiddish Policemen's Union
-And Another Thing
-The Girl with the Pearl Earring

I rarely finish a book that I hate. I'm picking these three from my goodreads.com list as they are the lowest rated. I admit, I have quite a few two-starred books and only a handful of five-starred. I gave Twilight two stars. I must have been feeling generous that day :)

I find that with many books, it depends on where I am in my own life as to whether or not I love it or hate it. For example I hated The Great Gatsby the first time I read it (in 11th grade). I reread it this summer and absolutely loved it. Chances are I could reread the Girl with the Pearl Earring and like it the second time around.

And of course, Pride and Prejudice will always be the best book every written :)
