I'm back from visiting with my dad's parents. It was just a wonderful visit, through and through. It's very nice to be around a bunch of people my own height, to realize what a part of my heritage it is to be short :) My grandparents are both master gardeners, so behind the cut you will find a picture of me with my uncles and cousin, followed by lots and lots of pictures of flowers taken from around their yard.

This is my cousin Bailey, me, and my uncles Keith and Tim. Keith owns a garden center that specializes in sod and Tim owns a sort of high-end garden shop. They both told me lots of stories about their conversations with Joe Biden; it turns out he shops at both their stores! He always buys his Christmas trees every year from Tim. My dad's family are all master storytellers and I just enjoyed sitting around listening to them weave their tales so very much.

Believe it or not, this flower--a fully formed orchid--is only the size of a thimble.

I can see so much resemblance! You look great by the way, and I LOVE and want that blue shirt!!

The flowers are so beautiful. I love all the rich colors, especially the orange colors. I have no idea what those are but that one pic of the orange bloomed flowers...gorgeous!
