I started packing a bit this morning. I remembered something that I had blocked from my memory regarding moving.

Everything gets way messy before the job is done.

I do my best to approach this with an organized mind, but inevitably I find random bits and pieces of junk that don't fit into my system. So then I start a box of "odds and ends". Then I have to sort through the box, which I am loath to do. Hmmm. Still, it feels good to get started.

ugh i hate moving!!! yes you end up cleaning out a lot of junk, but then you still have your odds and ends box, like you said. we still have boxes in the den that aren't unpacked from last oct., mostly books and movies. i once saw a t-shirt that said "war is easy, moving is hell"
