Photo community

I just joined a new community and I thought I'd mention it to my LJ friends. I know several of you enjoy photography. This community is for amateur photographers and every week there is a different theme. This weeks theme is "Up close" and next week's theme is "Annoying" (I can think of a lot of possibilities for both !) The community is photo_theme.

They all three look great. I'm glad I've joined LJ for so many reasons. And one of those is that my love for photography has been re-ignited. I'm having such fun snapping pics all day long.

What is your favorite niche of photography? Do any photographer's in particular inspire you?

For some reason, these seem like tough questions to answer...
I would say my favorite niche of photography is nature. I really wish I had the equipment to take up close and detailed pics of insects and bird. And, obviously, I like photographing my kids, or any kids for that matter.

I don't know many famous photographers off the top of my head, but I do love Ansel Adams work.
