I did it!

I made it through the whole day yesterday with no junk food! This is momentous for me. I honestly cannot remember the last time I went a whole day with no junk food. Probably when I was still living at home! I started to jones for some ice cream around 9:00 pm, but I didn't give in. Instead I worked on homework and went to bed early. I kind of snapped at Chris when he asked me to fix him a bowl of ice cream. Something like "I need you to be supportive!" I am a little bit more irritable than usual, but I'm hoping that when I get used to this eating healthy stuff, I'll a happy bird again.

Every time I sit down to eat one of my healthy snacks (like right now: graham crackers and a banana) Connor takes it away from me and chows done on it himself. Its funny.

Jazzercise tonight.

Congrats, T!

One day is more than most Americans go without fast food or junk food. My Doctor told me not to forget my fiber, ha ha! He suggested Uncle Sam's cereal. You can get most everywhere but it is less expensive at Walmart. I like it because it doesn't add that gross sweetner. I can deal with Fresca though. Fresca rules!

Much vegetables, a little fruit, water, chicken, and fish.
That is my goal....hey, its doable.

Thanks, Richard. I am eating so much fiber. Today I had (fiber-wise) an apple, spinach salad, broccoli, carrots and snow peas. I guess the goal is to eat so much healthy food, there is no room left for junk food. I've been drinking water like crazy too. So, tonight I had a glass of OJ and it was so delicious. I think that's another thing about eating uncontrollably. I didn't appreciate or savor the good stuff. I just shoved it in and went on to the next thing.

I didn't make it to Jazzercise, but I did take a walk with Connor and Pete. It was fun mom time.
