(no subject)

Just now on the way home from the store I was struck with Beijing Belly. Or should we call it Taiping Tummy? How about Mao's Revenge? Whatever we decide to call it, it demands that I hurry home asap and get to the bathroom.

Just as I sit down, my cell phone rings. The boys start scrambling around trying to find it. Suddenly it turns into a WWF type wrestling match over the phone. Connor gets it first and tries to hand it to me through the slats in the bathroom door. Zack and Petey come barreling towards him and he takes off screaming "No, my phone! My give it to mama!"

Meanwhile, I'm yelling "Just hand it to me!", amongst other things like "Stop chasing him" and "Boys, calm down!" Finally, the door is opened and the phone is handed in.

It's on. The call was answered 56 seconds ago. The whole thing was shared with the caller.

*giggle*

Aha! I knew you were going to come visit!

Don't worry, by the time you come hopefully we will know all the in's and out's (get it? lol) about eating in China. Maybe we'll be able to protect you from the Gang of Four (I love that, btw!)

You forget, I spent a year in Southeast Asia in a little country called Vietnam, so I've been there and done that. Also we had bubonic plague and cholera epidemics. TB and malaria were also endemic. TB is prevalent throughout China. There are many carriers. Getting run over by a moving vehicle is the number one liability to life and limb in China, so I'm told. Bill
