Books 21 and 22

21.Untitled by Bradley Ross (my dad)- My dad has written a novel and he asked me to read his first rough draft to give him some feedback. I've never read a first draft before and it was a really interesting experience. He's written a fantasy novel about a prince who is seeking to free a beautiful princess from the curse of the evil mountain king. It is written for ages 12-14. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up, but I enjoyed knowing that my thoughts and comments would help further the story. I'm so proud of my dad. Just to actually finish writing a novel is a great accomplishment, in my opinion.

22.Boy by Roald Dahl- Well written and entertaining. I'm glad I learned more about Dahl's life as a child; it gave me some insight into the inspiration of some of his books. It has been quite a while since I'd read any of his books and now I'm anxious to pick them up again. I'd like to read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before I watch the remake.
