Yesterday I finally remembered to take the camera out. I snapped a few pics of the apartment grounds, which I'll put behind the cut.

It seems that ever since we've moved here, Connor refuses to wear clothes. I've dressed him twice today and he's stripped himself three times. Right now he's strutting around in nothing but flip-flops and a sweat band. I think he's trying to fit in with the rest of the kids around here. It is pretty common to see parents carrying around naked kids, or kids with only shirts on.

My ear is really bothering me again. This morning I woke up dizzy and nauseated. As part of the work visa process, our whole family has to have physicals this week. Since the Beconase is no longer doing the job for my ear, perhaps I need to try something else.

We're off to see the Bell Tower today. The kids are complaining; they don't want to go out. Such is life :)

The alley across from our apartment. We walk this way to get to the market. I didn't take any pics at the market for two reasons. 1: I need both hands to keep the kids out of the way of speeding mopeds and bicycles. 2: Even though no one has a problem staring at us, I still feel shy taking pictures of them. I need to get over that.

I love the picture of you and the boys. Very cute!

I love the little girl statue, the one of her lying down, but the other *snickers*. Kids being kids! *lol*

The picture of Petey and the crepe myrtle is so beautiful. I have to tell ya, I had the entirely wrong idea about what China would look like. It is much prettier and more familiar-looking than I had imagined. The weird stuff is real weird, though. A statue of a little kid bent over so his booty is hanging out? Maybe it is not weird. Maybe *we* are weird for having such automatically debauched thoughts. I still don't like that statue, though! LOL!

Hi! The photos are beautiful, thanks for sharing your adventure. I don't know if I'm making this up, but isn't ec widely practiced in Asia? That would explain the statue and half naked kids.

I don't know about the rest of Asia, but I know it is very commonplace in China for kids be be half naked. No one thinks anything about it.

Chris says the little girl is suppose to be facing his bottom, with her finger on his wee-wee. Yes, I think your debauched thoughts are justified in this case :) I was glad someone turned the girl and broke her finger off :) I'm not ready to explain that one to the boys.

There is a lane of crepe myrtles in the apartment grounds. I love it. I missed them when we moved away from the South and seeing them here makes me feel more at home.
