(no subject)

Yesterday I spent most of the day cooking. As I had previously mentioned, I wanted to try and make a pumpkin pie from scratch for Thanksgiving, so yesterday was our "practice day". The boys and I chopped open two small pumpkins and scooped out the insides. They helped me every step of the way and really enjoyed it. The pie turned out really well. I was surprised that I actually did it :) lol, now that I know how long it takes though, I don't know if I want to repeat it for Thanksgiving...

Today I'm accompanying Chris' class on their field trip to a Buddhist monestary in town. The kids are staying with Zou. Should be fun!
