I'm feeling much less anxious then I did this morning. My wisdom teeth come out in the morning, and I'm feeling at ease about it, now. I believe it was the anxiety about my teeth that made me over react in my previous entry.
We had a wonderful time together last night. First, we went to see "Glory Road". What is it about sports movies that make them so enjoyable? Chris says it is their simplicity, and I think he's right. It was an excellent movie. Afterwards, we strolled around the mall. I bought a light blue tunic with flowers embroidered around the sleeves and bottom and sequins around the neckline ( I wore it to church this morning. I noticed that Chris kept looking at me, so I said "What, do I have some food on my shirt?" He said "No, I just really like it. It's very pretty" Awwww!) Next, we stumbled upon a treasure: a used book sale!! It was heaven on earth for a couple of nerds like us. We spent about a half hour digging through shelves. To make matters even better, everything was half off. Most of the books we bought were only .50. Heaven, I tell you. I found several old books and I love old books. My favorite is a Websters Encyclopedic Dictionary, published in 1941. It has beautiful color pictures inside, and is in excellent condition. I got it for $1. After we finished, we went to Macaroni Grill. I ordered much more carefully this time and did not blow my diet. I think I'm getting the hang of this. Ha, as soon as I say that I'll find myself eating a whole cheesecake on my own. Best not to get cocky, Tina...
Think of me in the morning, and remember that I'm laying in a dentist's chair unconscious while someone digs out three of my teeth. I thought about trying to write an LJ entry while I'm still loopy from the anesthesia, just to see what I came up with. We'll see about that tomorrow : )
