Sick daze
Connor was sick earlier this week and last night Chris had it too. It is the yucky type, generating lots of dirty laundry. Today I've been doing load after load of laundry, and pampering a sick husband with gatorade and jello. I didn't get to work out, so instead I ate ice cream. From one extreme to the other, that's me.
I do like the gym (Fast Fitness) that I won the free month to. I'm certain that PACE is the same thing as Curves. I really enjoyed it, although the back of my knees are quite sore today. I've never been sore there before, so it is sort of odd.
The news about the Pope's failing health has made me feel sad. I'm not sure why. I'm glad its General Conference this weekend. I still haven't started my "Great Depression" paper that is due on Monday. Also, in my other class we studied about the second Great Awakening this week. This is the period of time that Unitarians, Mormons, and Shakers sprung up. I love studying history and religion together. Perhaps that is what I will focus on in Graduate school. Here's a quote from my history book: "Mormonism would be to Christianity what Christianity had been to Judaism: an all-encompassing, higher form of religion." Food for thought.
